Hey, so basically I permanently have slighty swollen eyelids and was wondering what they are caused by and how to fix them. They werent always like that.

In the morning the puffiness is the strongest and over the course of the day it decreases slightly, but never fully.
I take finansteride but I had eyelid swelling even before that.

I also used minoxidil and then the swelling was even more extreme, especially in the morning; I would also feel some sort of pressure around my eyes. I used minoxidil for my eyebrows too, so I was wondering if that caused it, because just scalp application causing puffy eyes seems unlikely, since systematic absorption should be low. Unless I would maybe get some minoxidil on my pillow sheets and then over the night on my eyes.

I havent used minoxidil for 3 days now and some swelling improved, but some swelling is still there. Im also allergic to dust mites and cat hairs, which both are allergens that reside in my bed, I guess…

Sometimes I also sleep just 3 hours and was wondering if that controbutes a lot to it.

I would be happy if someone could share their experiences, because I lowkey hope it wasnt caused by minoxidil, since my eyebrows need way more density and length and without minoxidil Im kinda lost how to grow them.

Pictures are attached. Recent blood labs aswell. Thyriod and kidneys are fine. I was also wondering if I consume too much sodium but Im uncertain if that whole potassium to sodium balance thingy is some sort of pseudoscience, since the body is normally good at regulating those.

Also, cold ice on my eyes didnt do anything for the swelling, it persists regardless and even with enough sleep I do seem to have some sort of swelling..

Drink more water (3 or 4 litres daily). Get 8 hours of sleep daily.
