I have seen improvements in like less than year maybe 10 months or sum but I didnt chew everyday maybe on average like 3-4 times a week for 6 hours
But it damages your teeth I think because sometimes when i chew my teeth are hurting bad

Same, im also 16 w recessed mandible, i had a dental treatment for about 8 months when i was 11 but i didnt use my appliance everytime and i regret so much ngl, and it wouldnt be effective nowadays bc my growth plates must be almost closed or already fully closed
