How to fix recessed mandible?

I have a recessed maxilla/ mandible. My dentist wants to nerf me by fucking fixing my overbite by removing teeth and pushing my jaw back in line with my maxilla. I already asked if they could do something like MARPE or Damon braces but I believe they don’t want to do it cause it’s more work for them. Is chin tucks cope?
