I know exactly how to fix the UK, the problem is that it would be the most unpopular political platform of all time because the voterbase is made up of self-preserving boomers and retarded over-eager teenagers who can't wait to vote in favour of student debt erasure and other handouts.

  • Kill the NHS
The NHS is not the pride of the country. It is an unsustainable mess with a laughably bad quality of service for a first world country. With our aging population it's collpase is inevitable, we need someone with the balls to pull the plug and pivot to a model with more involvement from private companies. Start charging for primary care services, but keep everything else free of charge, ideally.

  • Scrap the greenbelt
We're limiting our use of our country's natural resources because? Some boomers want a nicer view out their window? Handicapping ourselves like this is peak retard. We are stagnating because we refuse to build things. Obviously we dont want to erase the greenbelt entirely (it has some use) but ffs we need to build houses and businesses and infrastructure. People and our prosperity should come first.

  • Utilise the power of Brexit
So we vote to leave the EU but then we dont fucking do anything? Take the opportunity to scrap excessive EU regulations and allow businesses to thrive. This complements the point above that we really just need to be building things.

  • Direct police resources to where it matters
This is probably partly me being overly-cynical and exposed to sensationalised news. But it just feels like the police resources are being grossly misused. Time and effort is expended tracking down Timmy for telling someone to kys on social media and making sure teenagers don't smoke weed. Meanwhile, environmental protests are blocking roads, bringing day-to-day business to a halt, and the police are protecting them from angry members of the public instead of shoving them into the gulag (wtf)
  • Restructure the BBC
The BBC is a cultural powerhouse and it's being greatly misused. All it seems to do is spread negativity and thinly-veiled leftist proaganda. I appreciate what they're trying to do because I agree with the fundamental messages on things like race and lgbtq+ issues. But they're so obnoxious and in your face about it that it's turning away the exact members of the public you are trying to sway. It needs to be handled with a lot more finesse. But in general it's so pessimistic and it's creating a horrible culture. We need to be more positive and driven as a nation.

You can’t fix France or the UK at this point. They have both became Africa and the Middle East.

The current state of NHS is because tories cut it as much as possible, to prepare ground so the people will agree to privatise the healthcare. It's not even a conspiracy theory, they admitted to it up front in recent years

nah, everytime labor gets in power they manage to fuck the whole economy.

it's legit the opposite but you need a deeper understanding of how these things work to realise it

being in favour of high taxes for the rich is selfish because you only care about the negative emotional feelings you personally have from it being unfair and choose to ignore the negative economics consequences (businesses moving abroad)

being in favour of low taxes for the rich is selfless because you understand that it attracts far more investment and business into the economy and increases everyone's standard of living in the long term, even if there is more inequality

because they are forced to with the UKs debt and an aging population. it's not like they have any other choices that don't fuck the entire enconomy (just look what happened to the pound when liz truss tried to do some borrowing last year)

why dont u want a moderate socialist capitalist system with incentive on renewable energy

they've been given a shit hand. blaming them for things like brexit and covid is retarded

covid saw the most cronyism in recent times, surrly u cant support that

I love renewable energy. I hate socialis
why not support state supplied fundementals for (travel, education , healthcare , housing ) when there are plenty reaources for this

leads to more growth in everything

because the state is generally bad at doing things themselves (no profit incentive). their role should be more for support, guidance and regulation.

Lmao I have no idea how people are still buying this
Privatized healthcare is not even cheaper for country, and has massive consequences demographically. It was proven time and time again in every single first world country that went through that road.
Privatisation of health care is purely ideologically motivated to freemarket cucks, and is happily welcome by greed of those who want to cash in on that, because indeed there's literal billions in that, and there will always be as long as humans exist. But of course, their services will only cover that which is profitable, leaving the rest out. Which will mean the government will need to step in anyway, to either fund the unprofitable procedures, this time with maximally inflated costs because there will be no other choice, or let people get handicapped or die. Or... create government-funded clinics, which means we're back at square one, but worse.
Every advanced country independently came to obvious conclusion that you simply can't have profit-driven healthcare, just like you can't have profit-driven firefighting departments, profit-driven police or profit-driven military. It is also in best interest for country to keep the population healthy and able to join workforce, it is basically a strategic industry, it is not even matter of morals or public service but way to ensure being of nation. Secondary and hidden costs of privatised healthcare are so immense that there's a seemingly paradoxical conclusion to this issue: a poor country *can not afford* cheapening out and privatising the healthcare.

the beveridge healthcare model is clearly the worst. most first world countries have far more private sector involvement and work better as a result. you need some disincentive for people just spamming the system like retards and wasting time/resources (especially with aging population)

Ur waffling bare only the police shit makes sense

If you remove the state then greedy corporations will take its place.

1. Introduce immediately free land for every inhabitant. The method of allocation would be regulated by governments. Of course there would be some corruption, but it would be a completely small price to pay for prosperity! Whoever would be owed for the land, the amount would be cancelled immediately. The bank would lose money and would have to be taken over by the government.

2. Immediate liquidation of usurious banks. Arresting the bankers and collecting the assets dishonestly seized in a usurious manner. Takeover of the role of banks by a government bank.

3. Introduction of a payment system in gold coins. Only cheques would be allowed as a written order to pay a certain amount of money in gold. All three moves would completely eliminate inflation. This would be followed by a ban on any credit cards.

4. Take all natural deposits out of private hands, i.e. nationalise all raw materials. There is not a single reason for a private individual to sell fuel or coal to anyone. Profits from raw materials should not go into private pockets but should enrich the citizens of the state.

5. Introduce free medical care and free education. Having control over raw materials and no exploitation due to the previous four points would result in such profits for the government that free benefits would most likely be extended not only to health care or education. Any insurance against any accidents would also be completely free. Only intentional damage or flagrant negligence would be penalised.
