How to fix tretinoin skin peeling

ive been using tretinoin 0.05% cream pea sized amount for about 2 and a half weeks now, just a few days ago it started peeling pretty bad around my cheeks and chin area. How can i fix this, it said to pause the use of it for 1 week and rebuild my skin barrier, but is that the best option for it? I use sandwich method for it and i dont know how to fix it. Any advice helps.

Just space out the application days and u will be good, moisturize morning aswell and use spf 50 pa ++++ daily with maintenance applications as the day goes on

you can try to drop down to using it twice a week instead of every day. apply it directly to clean dry skin once irritation calms down. use alot a heavy ceramide moisturizer morning and night for barrier. dont pause for a full week unless your face is actually burning or raw.

cerave moisturizing cream (the one in the tub) or la roche-posay. both are heavy duty, packed with ceramides, and cheap enough that you can use alot without caring abt price.

Its the best sunscreen money can buy
You can use La roche posay Cicaplast moisturizer and Vanicream gentle cleanser, if you want the best of those aswell.

Also it would be nice if could click the 0 to the right of my post.
