how to fix waist smaller than hips?

6’3 160 lbs untrained kinda skinnyfat

waist is 29.5 inches
hips 33.5
shoulders 45 inches

so my physique is kinda weird it’s skinnyfat with kind of an egg timer shape from my hips which are wider than my waist then goes back out again for my ribcage which is the same size as my hips

i also store more fat around hips and love handles than the oblique areas very little fat on them in comparison which makes it look worse

my question is that is this gentic and i have an incredibly small wait or is this just a factor of that i haven’t workout much

will i develop muscle in my waist area to catch up with my hip size gain a few inches maybe then by that time my shoulders will be bigger too giving more of a vtaper


TLDR can you do anything about smaller waist than hips or is it ooova

some can fix it training obliques and gaining weight

others are screwed out of luck

best case ive seen of fixing it:

then u have ppl like this whos rib cage is too small and iliac crest too wide to fix

but i think its dependent on rib cage width relative to iliac crests and androgen receptor locations in the obliques

But you can train obliques and it will look like how you want

Alright sure, but if he's untrained it would look weird as fuck if his waist was wider than his hips, he's acting like that's abnormal.
well actually if he had a god tier frame it would be that case

its bad, he really means iliac crests

everyones hips are obviously wider than the waist at the widest point of the hips
but the iliac crests should be narrower than the waist ideally, as i showed above
yes i didn’t know what this was but now i do mine stick out and purtrude more than most i think i think my physique would look like this kinda when gymaxed

if the iliac crests are too wide training obliques can only do so much

it might even make the problem worse as seen in bodybuilders like chul soon

this is me with a pump after workout but you can see my frame but i literally bench 40kg JFL so could this frame be saveable or is it over

i dont want to say no based on the example i posted above which when i first saw i thought was photoshop because of how drastic the change was

ur frame is good but the hips throw off ur harmony

yeah you're right he doesn't actually mean hips, the "good" examples you linked all have hips bigger than waist

How are you hips this big, having smaller waist than hips is normal but you have big hip

My ribcage is wide af causing my waist to be a bit big,I think my shoulder to waist ratio is still around 1.6x tho can I still fix it

i do not think it is normal to have a 29 inch waist with some fat around it maybe 28.5 when lean that is really small my hips are not that big from the back i look good but it’s the bones at the front that purtrude making them look very big they are normal sized 33.5 inches

yea i think i do have a bit of scoliosis maybe genetics my brother has the same, but also lifestyle of sat playing games a lot when i was overweight and improper sitting could have effected it too

even if he corrected the asymmetry they would be bad

they're much wider than the lower part of his rib cage which would be very difficult to even out with any mass gained or oblique training since its purely structural

nobody cares about the lower ribcage gang. as long as they are not as wide as chest or shoulders

his iliac crests look as wide as his biacromial width gang, sorry.

Your shoulder posture is looksmining you.

1)Do heavy deadlifts to stretch your upper traps to allow them to go lower so they will be wider as the clavicles will be forming a straight line with each other

2)the normal shoulder position is forward as much as you can. If it looks shit then go to step 3 and 4

3)strengthen the muscles allowing you to have a straight back. It involves neck, back, abs, ass, harmstrings…. Do your own research as i don’t know the name of the back muscle names.

4)strengthen your rotator cuf, so you will be able to rotate outwardly your humerus will still keeping your clavicles carried forward.
This way, your chest will be visually stretched and wider looking, while still having your clavicle set forward allowing also a wider look.

Also having a straight neck, straight back, and lowered clavicles (so they end up making a straightline) Will give you beautiful looking traps and wings.

Also, you will avoid the bodybuilder uncanny look even with a men’s physic look (if you ever take roids which i don’t recommend).

the shoulder posture is weird here because i was trying to make my shoulders comp for my hips they don’t usually look like that but i am cutting all the rest of the fat rn because i’m not well and it’s easy to lose weight then i will go into a lean bulk not a dirty bulk like last time which ended up with me at like 25% bf i can’t find that picture but here is a pic of my physique before i stopped gymcelling and it’s not too bad well it’s better than my body now

still skinny fat here and this is with a pump too take into account without the pump i looked a lot worse lol
 
Please don't train obliques, it will make your waist bigger which is obviously bad. just keep building muscle and losing fat
