One of the main things people compliment me on is my eyes (they are bright blue, and with dyed eyebrows and curled eyelashes, my eye area is pretty good)
BUT I had BIG problem - my lower eyelids would get kind of puffy and sometimes red. This would happen any season, indoors or outdoors.
I spent years researching to try and find out what the fuck was causing it and it came down to 3 things:
- allergies (dust and pollen)
- 'dry eye'/blepharitis (condition from staring at a screen all day)
- SPF, sweat and moisturiser dripping into eye area
I tried heat masks, cold masks, 6000mg fish oil per day, massages, wiping my eyes with baby shampoo, special eye wipes, oral antihistamines, shop-bought eye drops... I even paid some South African Jewish doctor hundreds of £ to 'clean my eyes' at a high end clinic in Mayfair, but NOTHING fixed the issue.
Until I discovered the miracle prescription eye drop that fixed it all:
Olopatadine
If any of you guys are being descended from swollen or red lower or upper eyelids, or have general eye discomfort, please ask your doctor for a prescription! It's like a miracle for me. I know this won't be relevant to most people, but hopefully people find this thread if they search for eyelid issues.
I see many guys on a daily basis who would look so much better if they just used a few drops of olopatadine in the morning.
