I applied to 5 local fast food places yesterday and I'm pretty sure they wont take me because im not 18

If fast food joints are not hiring little bro, then factories shouldn't be able to either.

Although I am pretty sure, at 16 you CAN legally get a job. Try looking for jobs that specify 16-year-olds can apply/work at the location.
