I see quite a lot of looksmatched couples when I get out of my basement. Or atleast, I think they are a couple, but they could just be friends. Or be in some failed relationship. Regardless, to have some hope I am assuming they are 'happy couples'.

Especially during these covid times though, I wonder where they met.

Online-dating is an obvious no-go. I've been on there for years with different ages, names, pictures, personalities, and so on. It's a shitshow that has 0 real-world use.

I am assuming it's social circle game. But considering a situation in which there's almost no women at your job, studies, current hobbies and current social circles. Where the fuck do you even start?

So far I've been doing doing clubs/festivals/bars, but I find that people are hardly there to make new connections and are there mostly to have fun in the group, the social circle, they arrive with. And during covid, which is lasting for almost 2 years now, this is a no-go anyways.

Meeting women at your hobbies is no option either, since most of the hobbies I like, such as. weightlifting, combat sports, videogaming, board games, car meetups, and so on. Tend to be extremely male dominated.

Are there people here that took up 'hobbies' that they don't like at all, like horse-riding and yoga, just to meet young women and try to slay from there? Seems like a valid option ngl.

You need to be well networked to get a good girlfriend and I don't mean just good looking or looksmatched, but an actual non-whore non-slut ethical woman.

There are a few things you can try if you're a social outcast like myself. You can try to be more outgoing. Chances are you know at least a few people. If you have at least a few things in common you can make it work and after some time you will likely be invited to do things together with his group of friends or social circle. I hanged out with a guy from university for 6 months before he invited me to join him with his friends and now I'm a member of the group.

Something else you can try is, like you mentioned, expand your hobbies. I personally find that a waste of time since chances are they are the same rubbish people you see randomly on the street, just at a different location.

The last thing and probably the most effective thing you can do is move back to your hometown if you have one. In small towns people know each other and what everyone is up to. You can meet and get together with good women that way. Even if both of your parents are from the big city, you can move there and start anew.
