How to get a palate expander?

Already went to a doc for my chin/mandible -> its recessed, yet only appearance problem and no health problem -> she said i should go to a surgeon but she highly doubts they are gonna do it or that the insurance will pay for it.

Another goal is a palate expander. Since im 17 im probably a candidate for MARPE or SARPE, its only looks wise and i dont have breathing problems, only when I lie down i slightly breathe worse but its due to posture I think.

How can I get an expander?

"Just larp it" = in the fucking CT scan they can see it if i need it or not, what other ways are there to get it?

If you dont have a health issue its hard to get, especially hard to get it covered by insurance (since youre in germany).

Best option you have is to find an orthodontist who is willing to give you MARPE or MASPE, but it probably will cost alot.

Find any Cosmetic Clinic with an Ortho who does widom teeth and see if he can operate a MARPE, Obviously Insurance won't cover it but eitherway Hospital Ortho's wont do much.

to get it you need to have a small apalate and it causinf issues

talk of your issue and why you are there (dentists know that most patients come there for looks)
and ask if your issue is serious or nah or if there is anything they can do to help you
tell them btw that you are thinking of surgery, dont shy about it

the thing is, i dont know if it is the chin or the mandible. when i stretch my jaw forward and make me look like underbite, then the chin doesnt look recessed at all, i think bsso is calling

Is that your bite could seem "fine"
Since teeth "tip" to fix the bite issue
So if you have and overbite your top teeth tip back
And lower teeth tip forward.
Not saying you have this but its important to take account into that
