Very specific to where you live but if you are actually in poverty or not or just poor in general apply to Job corps. Its a free trade school that offers high school schooling you just need parental consent and to pass the interview. Ive been going here for welding and most people there are chill. Its a 2 year program and they help you get a job right after. I submitted my application and got an interview the next day. If you are still in school apply for a free lunch program to increase your chances of getting in.
