how to get lean and NOT lose muscle

i’ve been bulking and i was just eating whatever the fuck I wanted, scale went up like crazy and so did my muscle size and strength, but I look like a chipmunk jfl. I wanna cut cause I prioritize how my face looks but i’ve been bulking for a while and I don’t wanna lose my muscle but I wanna get lean ASF. For the gymcels here how do you cut and get as lean as possible without losing muscle.
 
eat a lot of protein, do gym, reduce your cardio, slight calorie deficit
 
you can lose your muscule from cardio
JFL. the act of cardio does not lose muscle, cardio simply contributes to burning of calories, which can in turn cause you to lose muscle. There is no reason you should avoid cardio specifically as long as the cardio you are doing is factored into your calorie calculations. In fact, increasing cardio is somewhat preferable to simply just eating less, as you can maintain similar protein intake.
