How to get lean?

I'm 62 kg, estimate my body fat is around 19–20%, and I have noticeable face fat. I've gone to the gym on and off. Should I cut to around 15% body fat first, then lean bulk, or lean bulk first and cut later? Should my main focus be strength training or cardio for the best body recomposition while preserving muscle

No, i started off skinny fat - did dirty bulk - got fatter - leaned down to almost 12% - burned out and got fat again and here i am. Focus on strenght training and do only cardio if you predict you wouldn't be in a satisfactory deficit if not. Also 62kg and 20%bf? how tall are you

Oh alr i couldn't make it add up since we are the same height and i'm same percentage bodyfat wise, while being 72 kg. Dnr that you only started gym now or at least have been doing it half-hearted. I'd say get on reta maybe and lean down if its difficult without supplements.

You're probably lower than 20% then. I have a noticable man pouch and handles atm. Maybe your face fat is stubborn or you have poor fat distrubtion

but u r legit lean 62kg at 5'9 u just said ur body is lean dropping to the 50kgs for a slightly leaner face is crazy ur bones are recessed

Yes any solution?
Get lean first, like actually lean not just abs being slightly visible. That removes most of the fat from your face and therefore enhancing angularity and your bone structure. If your face still looks fat then maybe look into aqualyx or lipovela, although cheek injections usually aren't recommended

I’m 5”10/178cm and 74 kilos for 19% bf, you either don’t have any muscles or you have much less fat than you think

Facefat isn’t really an indication of bodyfat, it’s purely genetics i know guys with lean faces at 25% and some that look chubby on 15%, get yourself a bodyfat scale guys its like 20 bux, not dead on accurate but atleast you have a clue about where you at
