Work - Another good option but if you get promoted its going to be difficult to stay friends with your collegues.
Hobbies - Most reliable way to make friends.
Uni - Exceptional way to make friends, you will have alot of free time. However as soon as you finish uni you will never talk to 90% of the people you met again.
Reconnect with your old friends - Can work but you could have drifted apart.
