How to get prescribed Minoxidil?

I've already been to the doctor to talk about hair loss, minoxidil, etc and he sent me to do testing before he wants to prescribe me anything. The thing I worry about is that during my conversation with him he seemed like he didn't want to prescribe it to me even tho I'm literally 19, have noticeably thin hair, and my temples are at a norwood 1. I didn't ask for any DHT blockers only just for minoxidil btw. I go back to his office this upcoming Monday so does anyone have any suggestions that i could say to my doctor that could convince him to prescribe it to me?

I live in canada and its very common for doctors to prescribe people oral minoxidil its just i think the doctor thinks im to young or something like bro is just trying to stop my accension

minoxidil won't stop your hair falling out if the reaper's already coming
