You should be concerned about discerning what is/isnt a good trade opportunity and aim to sustain your trading for multiple decades. The most important summary stats will be current cumulative returns and max historical drawdown. Not much else matters. Do not make anything too complicated. Also you'll need a systematic (automated) system if you want to survive long term

Fundamentals change very fast though. Look at the equity rebound yesterday. Lots of speculators shorted equities due to the Israel-Iran stuff and lost money trying to call the top. Macro overlays definitely can help but the underlying should be price and rules based. I don't think macro discretionary funds do well in this day and age.

The lightning network so far is unreliable, and cheap transactions are far from guaranteed on Bitcoin, and that problem could get worse as usage declines, and money moves elsewhere.

If people collectively decide stock index funds are a safer long term store of wealth, because of dividend growth, and expected economic growth, then Bitcoin could be the highest it ever is.

If people's faith and belief in the U.S. dollar, or CBDCs, or Property, Grows and People's Emotional Trust in Crypto never returns, then this may be the biggest the crypto market is ever, in the future.

All that matters is the price action and the long term trends. Same applies for all markets you can identify that have long term trends. I don't even need to know the names of them. Just give me price and a history of the price. I'll place positions when the market starts moving, otherwise I hold my money.

For investing. Long term equity indices with dividend reinvesting. SPXTR index or something like that. Simple. Give me a SPDR S&P total return passive index fund and I'll let that be my investment vehicle while I'm younger. I'm not sold on REITs, and holding long alternatives is retarded. If you have the opportunity then later on, buy physical property without debt and you're pretty much set.
