last nuclear option, has the potential to fuck pretty much dozens of things in your bodyAccutane
brotato chip is grinding org holyAccutane
Thank youlast nuclear option, has the potential to fuck pretty much dozens of things in your body
you can look into b5 OP
tretI don’t think my acne is bad enough to use accutane
I have a thread on it, you can search my post historyThank you
Hop on trentinion its a retinoid mainly used for acne scars, but its cleared up all of my acne as well, it promotes skin cell turnover and boosts collagen production. You can easily get it prescribed on redboxrx, it's not as expensive or as nuclear as accutane. What are some skincare products I can use to get rid of acne?
I’m at the airport rn what else is there to dobrotato chip is grinding org holy
Just do it you will never deal with acne againI don’t think my acne is bad enough to use accutane

But I hear there are many bad side effects to it and can cause stomach issuesJust do it you will never deal with acne again
The side effect profile isn’t that bad if you’re healthy. But I hear there are many bad side effects to it and can cause stomach issues
that's correct, and the guy you're replying to is fucking retarded, because the replase rate of accutane is very high, especially when it comes to hormonal acneBut I hear there are many bad side effects to it and can cause stomach issues
the side effect profile is fucking dogshit since it targets all oil glands, including those in your eyelids, and you will end up with permenetly dry eyesThe side effect profile isn’t that bad if you’re healthy.
Thank you and I will look into b5 thanks for helpingthat's correct, and the guy you're replying to is fucking retarded, because the replase rate of accutane is very high, especially when it comes to hormonal acne
OP look up accutane regression or relapse, many many people have to do multiple courses during their lives, so you have to take a massive gamble, fuck your eyes, fuck your digestion, and you dont even get rid of acne for good?
Don’t speak in absolutes a small subset of people can experience MGD but it’s manageable and not common at all.the side effect profile is fucking dogshit since it targets all oil glands, including those in your eyelids, and you will end up with permenetly dry eyes
yeah?not common at all
there's a literal entire study on it you idiotThere is no evidence that isotretinoin universally causes irreversible gland destruction.
you right I don’t really know what I’m talking about thanks for educating me.yeah?
take a look around a dry eyes forum, half of these mfs got it from tret or accutane
and MGD is also age related, you lose glands as you age, so if you fuck half of them when you're 20, when you're 50 you are much more likely to develop MGD, almost certainly I would say
stack that with heavy computer usage, and you've got a perfect recipe for MGD
you don't know what you're talking about
there's a literal entire study on it you idiot
just cover it up with makeup, or ask your doctorI don’t think my acne is bad enough to use accutane
it's important to stay on top of it, you can prevent a lot of gland atrophy with hot eye compresses, and other treatmentsI may be cooked in the future
in 2025 there's never a reason to argue about this stuff, when we have AI at our fingertips that will tell us exactly how insanely toxic accutane is to eye glandsIsotretinoin doesn't just turn down sebum production - it fundamentally reprograms how sebocytes function at the transcriptional level through retinoic acid receptors (RARs and RXRs).
The quality changes you're describing are significant: the sebum becomes more viscous and has altered lipid composition - changes in the ratios of wax esters, triglycerides, squalene, and other components. This thicker, altered sebum is actually part of why the drug works so well for acne, but it's also why people experience such intense dryness. You're not just making less oil; you're making fundamentally different, less effective oil that doesn't protect or lubricate the skin as well.
yeah, overdosing vitamine b5 and fucking you biotin levels is much safer then accutane! (sarcasm)I have a thread on it, you can search my post history
essentially, b5 supplementation, stacked with 1 or 2 other supps, can reduce sebum production via a different mechanism than accutane
it's systemic as well, so it should work for things like backacne and chest as well
alternatively hop on fucking nandrolone and that will probably help as well jfl
you can stack if with other supplements (I think NAC and alcar), in order to multiply the b5 efficiencyonly high doses of vitamine b5, you can achieve a significant effect on sebum producttion
do you have a source on this? that 1 or 2 grams a day of b5 will "fuck my vitamin" ratios?fucking you other vitamine ratios
i miss remembered it, i alr changed my message to biotin*do you have a source on this? that 1 or 2 grams a day of b5 will "fuck my vitamin" ratios?
I think the only one that is affected is biotin, and this effect could be the reason for the "shedding" some experience while megadosing
Thanks for being kind and sharing this it’s something really important for me to be aware of.it's important to stay on top of it, you can prevent a lot of gland atrophy with hot eye compresses, and other treatments
but the brutal thing is that the 13 cis retinoic acid does gene transcription, it signals to the glands on the gene level, not only to produce less oil, but to also produce oil of lower quality (like thicker for example, it degrades the oil quality itself)
accutane is simply brutal for the glands, and it's why I'm avoiding it as someone that's already on the edge of dry eyes, even tho I'm getting a lot of acne form my cycle
interestingly, I seem to tolerate tazarotene alright
