No topical will be fast but azelaic acid and vit c are probably better for
Az first and then moisturiserthis is a dumb question but does azelaic acid replace mosturizer or do i apply it before or after

Brimonidine 0.33% gel works wonders. It completely gets rid of the redness for 24 hours. For long term results tho, get Q switched laser sessions. Try using Tranexamic acid too. I coped with using azelaic acid and vitamin c but it didn't work for me. These things did.No topical will be fast but azelaic acid and vit c are probably better for pie
Obv laser is gold standard but i assumed he didnt want to spend money on that or something.Brimonidine 0.33% gel works wonders. It completely gets rid of the redness for 24 hours. Brimonidine is just a temporary vasoconstrictor, it gets rid of it for around a day. I used azelaic acid regularly for 4 months, didn't get any results. Tranexamic acid got me a bit of results in around 1.5 months as far as I remember.Obv laser is gold standard but i assumed he didnt want to spend money on that or something.
Considering that you did these things Is brimonidine actually gonna fade it overtime or is it just a temporary vessel constrictor? I heard Azelaic acid actually fades it over time but your experience says otherwise
I would do 10mg of accutane so the general inflammation in the area goes away and maintains zero acne so it doesn't get worse.i dont even have any actual acne its just the redness and i dont rly think niaminacide is working and tinted sunscreen barely helps so
Would 10% azealic acid be enough?I would do 10mg of accutane so the general inflammation in the area goes away and maintains zero acne so it doesn't get worse.
Then use high% azelaic acid but no other actives since accutane already leaves you with a more sensitive barrier. Lasers would be the most effective though but depending on how severe your pie is you should be able to clear it up with azelaic acid plus accutane or tazarotene.
Another underrated thing that could help is oral tranexamic acid which you can use alongside all of these.
With low dose accutane it's fine. Monitor your skin for barrier damage (you will know if you feel a burning sensation after you apply products if you have barrier damage). If you can tolerate 10 percent, you can try 15 percent, if that's also fine you can do 20 percent. But if you aren't on accutane you should be able to tolerate much more actives. Such as tazarotene and azelaic acid.Would 10% azealic acid be enough?
Im on 40mg accutane but planning to lower the dosage cuz joint pains and eczema issues. With low dose accutane it's fine. You can try azelaic acid but at that high of an accutane dose it might irritate you pretty badly so just be cautious an patch test a small area first.Im on 40mg accutane but planning to lower the dosage cuz joint pains and eczema issues.
Im going to buy azealic acid 10% and see how it feels but do u think any supplements like astaxanthin, beta carotene or such would help? I saw another post about it
Retinoidi dont even have any actual acne its just the redness and i dont rly think niaminacide is working and tinted sunscreen barely helps so
Even sunscreen on Iceland? Theres legit no 0 UV 24/7 and the sun only comes up for around 6 hours midday and even then 0 UV.You can try azelaic acid but at that high of an accutane dose it might irritate you pretty badly so just be cautious an patch test a small area first.
The supplements you listed are carotenoids mainly for colouring but astaxanthin specifically is a better antioxidant and protects a little against uv. So indirectly it can help PIE to fade a bit quicker. But it's not worth it specifically for your goals. Injectable vitamin c, liposomal vitamin c, would be a better supplement. Oral txa would probably be your best bet though, although its mainly for PIH.
Sunscreen is actually the MOST important thing for fading PIE though. You don't want a molecule of UV on your face as it's not optimal and will delay the healing process. Apply spf 50 pa++++ religiously or LDAR.
Still need sunscreen there can't be zero UVEven sunscreen on Iceland? Theres legit no 0 UV 24/7 and the sun only comes up for around 6 hours midday and even then 0 UV.
And yeah last time i applied something “irritating” to my skin i woke up a little swolen the next day and wouldnt be suprised if the same would happen with azealic acid
