How to get thicker hair? (not how to prevent hair loss)

How does one increase the thickness of existing hair follicles.

I'm not talking about how to prevent hair loss or how to increase the number of hairs on your head. I'm talking about how to actually increase the thickness of the existing hairs.

I have a lot of my hair still left but I feel that it is very limp and Does not stay in place and is very reactive to the wind.

I read somewhere nizoral increases hair shaft diameter. Also look into filoxane.

Ive used both tbh and noticed no tangible effect but my 2c

The action by either fin or minox is to make the shafts grow larger, so that's your only real option

As for frauding, do you use a hair dryer? When I put a strong putty in my wet hair, then blowdry it, it has a much denser appearance

I fraud hair thickness by using volumizing gel + hairdyer

I used filloxane and didn't work for me. Try minoxidil foam.

genetics. everything else improves growth rate, you can't change the diameter, unless you're already balding and see improvement from meds.

castor oil made my eyebrows thicker, so it should work on scalp hair too

You can't really make it thicker but you can make it appear thicker by going to a barber and asking for scissor cuts.

Scissor cuts is a bit like using thinning scissor but actually make your hair look thicker believe it or not.
