The Cure For Hair Loss - The Truth About 5α-Reductase Inhibitors and Topical Anti-Androgens

I’m pretty certain that RU and Fin would mog Dut solo tbh.
Yes, I agree.

I've looked into Dutasteride vs finasteride efficacy in a bit more detail.
Scalp DHT is not the only measure, intrafollicular DHT is arguably much more important.

This is from a relatively modern 2023 study:

Screenshot 2025 05 08 at 123705

Reasoning stated:

To fully understand the pharmacokinetics involved in AGA treatment, measuring the local concentration of both drugs to confirm their migration to the hair follicle tissue through the circulating blood is essential. The hair used as a biosample in our study was perceived to grow 1 cm per month, capturing steroids including finasteride, dutasteride, and DHT as it forms . In other words, the part of hair 3 cm from the root is considered a “storage medium,” representing the average concentration in the hair follicles for 3 months

I'll attach the paper so you can read into experimental set-up and dosages, if interested

Mirin actively reducing competition tbh.

Can’t believe this mf thinks this dick is going to grow so substantially at 25 years old it’s worth sacrificing you hair (it won’t grow a nanometer).
you are stupid.

you're strawmaning my argument, I never said dick will continue to develop at 25. Although ironically it can in men whose sexual development was stunted due to low DHT. other DHT dependent traits related to male dimorphism, however, clearly do continue to develop into adulthood. the idea that you, as a man, can just nuke your levels of the main androgenic male hormone systemically and have no negative effects is absurd. at any age its influence on the brain, psychology and behaviour is incredibly significant.

the DHT hypothesis of hairloss is also fundamentally flawed and at least partially wrong. yes I'm aware of the arguments for it, but the observation of elevated DHT levels in balding scalps appears to be mainly a symptom of impaired oxidative metabolism of glucose in relavent cells, inflammation and stress hormone imbalance. estrogen is known to terminate hair growth and testosterone to promote it, and there is a gradual rise of androgenic alopecia in men with age (as DHT levels decline and E2 rises).

caging my lungs out
the methods I mentioned are shown to produce an increase in hair density of about 96 per sqm, and to regrow hair in completely bald regions such as the crown in cases of severe norwood. DHT inhibitors are not.

I'm telling you guys, be careful about nuking your DHT as a man. can be very bad

yes they can help with hair regrowth, but they don't fix the actual problem of hair loss

also yes no shit, DHT blockers are used to stop hair loss and not for regrowth

Literally nothing bad has happened only positives. I would do it again 100x over. I experienced regrowth on Dutasteride, no minox. I actually stopped minox after 2 years and it was a very based decision on my end

i love when random greys say that dht blockers are not needed for hair loss. lets just throw all research out the window theory.

Sorry, dutasteride actually can promote hair regrowth. But it just cannot regrow hair in areas where follicles are already dormant or have been lost for a long time.

So yes adding minoxidil, red light therapy and microneedling helps a ton with hair regrowth - but still doesn't stop it

thats why dht blockers are mandatory to stop hair loss

Rad140 drys you out, not bloat you.

Test bloats but I would run Test 10/10 times over RAD. AI and Epleronone and maybe eNAC inhibitors.

Isn't this shit spikes your estrogen tends to cause subcutaneous bloating?
Yes it’s possible since RAD was at the receptors instead of test then the test converted to e. It’s possible.

Run test tho.

If he told you to run rad140 solo then go find a new coach, because your coach doesn’t know shit. It’s steroids 101 that you need a test base.

Anyone who says run SARMS over actual AAS has 0 credibility tbh.
