you'd have to do it manually frame by frame for gifs yes.. which is usually too much effort for people despite it taking max 2 minutes

i don't have good enough programs for the squidward ones but i can do the dexter one in a second.

you just have to keep trying, it's weird like that. i believe it depends on file size.
