Idk what topical does (maybe it's a good hair gel?) but when you eat castor oil (food grade), it acts as some kind of relaxing compound and opens up a hair growth pathway that's normally inhibited.

I was using it to thicken my beard area but noticed my eyelashes have actually grown longer as well.

Don't megadose it though because at large doses it's a laxative. 1-2mg per day should give you no sides while being effective.

Not completely. For me it made hairs which were already their grow slightly longer. But it didn’t make new hairs grow
