How to guide ur implants designer for a good set of implants??

Recieved the draft 1 of the design, what changes should i ask for?? a couple of things i can think of are malar implants not giving enough lateral protrusion, gonion flaring.

I also am planning to include infra implants as well.

The peak anterior projection of the malar implants should sit slightly higher and more laterally. Why not 6mm anterior projection? I wouldn't try to achieve crazy gonion flaring with implants, use some filler on top of the implant instead. I agree on adding the infras.

Yes, I am involved in it, but for the first draft, i let the designer do it without much intervention.

Depends, u can either do that or bring ur own implants (which u designed with some known designer) and go to a surgeon to get them placed.

why not do bimax first? thats a lot of projection youre getting in the mandible?

Bimax is quite low ROI for me. + I don't want some average surgeon to cut my skull open

What doctor is this? You should be getting genio instead of that 10mm chin implant.

This guy had a full wraparound implant, which gave him a deep mentolabial fold and implant reveal.. So we redesigned his whole case, this time with a genio

This was js the first draft, I'll obviously made sure in the next drafts they contour it well and fix asymmetries. And about the mentolabial fold, im quite sure, it won't happen to me cuz my labiomental angle is quite obtuse actually. Can i see the side view of ur wrap around on the skull??

Because getting an implant is better in my case, cuz my labiomental angle is pretty flat rn, so im like an perfect candidate for a chin implant. +The tightening is temporary obv

bad idea. use the first draft as a signal that they are just not competent. 10mm implant is also a bad idea as well. for such large movements a genio + implant makes more sense

Why exactly is the 10mm implant a bad idea? Nevertheless it's 8mm now. But still as long as i don't have a deep labiomental fold, it should be alright.
