I know this will sound weird but as soon as I stopped using shampoo my hair got the best texture it ever had. 0 problems with smell or oily hair, I do wash it very thoroughly 2 times every day tho. + letting my hair air dry is also very important

this is what it looks like now btw. before I had super straight hair. this is without any product too btw

Yeah, i have tried that, everyone told me that my hair looked very good at that time, but I was getting dandruff and oil eventually

warm water and towels caused that for me. as soon as I switched to cold water and air dry, those problems disappeared. dont know if that will work for you tho

If you got really coarse flat straight hair theres nothing you can do other than slapping 20 products on your poor scalp every single morning
