Solution
Dr. Mog
I have learnt a medical protocol for that, copy pasta from my medical book.

Keep it clean and dry for 48 hours.
  • Don’t let water run over it till the dressing is changed by a nurse or surgeon.
  1. After 48–72 hours:
    • You can gently wash around it with mild soap and water. Pat dry.
    • No alcohol, Dettol, or iodine unless your surgeon said otherwise.
  2. Dressing:
    • Change once daily or when soaked.
    • Use sterile gauze and micropore tape.
    • Apply a thin film of mupirocin or fusidic acid if there’s redness or minor oozing.
  3. Observe for infection:
    • Redness spreading beyond edges, thick discharge, pain increasing after day 3, or fever → needs review and culture.
  4. Diet:
    • 1.5–2 g/kg...

    • 1.5–2 g/kg protein (eggs, paneer, dal, chicken).
    • Vitamin C and zinc supplements aid collagen synthesis.
    • Hydrate well.
  5. Lifestyle:
    • No smoking or alcohol.
    • No stretching or lifting that pulls on the wound line.
  6. Follow-up:
    • Stitches removed day 7–10 for face, 10–14 for trunk, 14–21 for lower limb.

Solution
if its an incision, bandage it like this:
Amazon.com: Emergency Wound Closure Strips - 4pk - 2 Types Sutures Free Laceration Closure Kit - Stitchless & Easy to Use - Butterfly Bandages for Cut Care - Perfect for Quick Stop

Just 2 regular bandaids or tape, pull in opposite directions and stick.
