Intro & Disclaimer
You may be asking, "How in the world is this guy going to explain how to improve your under-eyes if you have recessed infras WITHOUT surgery or filler..." well here is my explanation, but first.

I also want to state that this isn't going to PERFECTLY FIX your under eyes. Highlight on the word IMPROVE. Anyway, lets get into it.
Hyaluronic Acid
What is Hyaluronic acid (HA)?
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar molecule produced by your body. It's mainly produced in your skin, eyes, and connective tissues (cartilage, tendons, ligaments, fat tissue, bone & blood).
Its main use is to soak up water in the body (1g of hyaluronic acid powder can hold up to 6 liters or 1.59 gallons of water)
How it affects the under-eye area

How it affects the under-eye area
Essentially, hyaluronic acid temporarily plumps your skin, so when you use it under your eyes, not only does it hydrate the area, but it serves as sort of a cheap filler (for 8h-12h). It improves dark circles, smooths fine lines if you have skin dehydration, which makes it extremely good for your under-eye area.
It lasts for 8-12 hours/until you wash your face. It cannot fix genetic eyebags or recessed infras, but it at least makes the area look better for the day.
Leaving hyaluronic acid on overnight or re-applying helps because it slows down TEWL (trans epidermal water loss, you can do some research on it but it doesn't really matter), basically just means the hyaluronic acid can draw in water and plump the top layer of the skin for the morning.

HOW TO USE IT (IMPORTANT)
Get a Hyaluronic acid toner and use it after washing your face and before your moisturizer. ONLY USE IT 2 TIMES A DAY (3 MAX).
I experience irritation even with 2x a day and it can also depend on what product you're getting. korean skincare can be good for this, do some research though.
It draws water from its surroundings, so don't apply it to dry skin, try to use it on damp skin and then use a moisturizer after.
don't ever use it inside your eyes or try using the toner for filler

Conclusion
that's pretty much it. i'd show example photos but i dont really want to show my face and you can literally try it out for yourself. i mean the average toner is like $20-30 max $35 if you want to buy a big bottle.
even if you don't end up using it for your under-eyes you can use it for your facial skin.
if you dont trust me you can look at these articles too:
