Maybe not. But most people pre establish friend groups in a college/uni based on their previous schools, or they stick with the same people from the first few weeks.

If you aren't in a sport or frat, you're basically alone. The college experience would be hell without some networking skills.

Most of us aren't NT but that doesnt matter, whatever it takes to get the end result.

Better to get the friend group benefits with a non NT method than to rot alone.
