Yeah, J-M67 is the most common in Armenia isn’t it? My haplogroup is sort of rare among modern-day Armenians. Or was it R1b that was the most common? I don’t remember.

No jm67 is very rare amongst Armenians, it’s more common in chechnya ingushetia dagestan
Most are r1b or some other variant of j2

Mirin, does that mean you’re basically an Armenianized Chechen/Dagestani/Ingush?

So basically there’s this theory called the alarodian languages theory

It says that the nakh languages (chechen/ingush) belong To the same language family as the hurro-urartian languages (predecessors of modern armenian before merging with Proto indo European)

So my ancestors would have come from that alarodian branch sort of thing

I believe that even dzhokhar dudayev who was president of chechyna in the 90s acknowledged the ancient relationship between chechens and armenians

Y-DNA is a tiny fraction of ancestry. Finns have >50% of their Y-DNA from N1c and yet that doesn't mean they're >25% Northeastern Asian.

East Sicilians by your stance would cluster with Lebanese since they cluster with them in terms of Y-DNA. West Sicilians should have notably more Northern/Eastern European ancestry than East Sicilians. Here's the reality. There's no difference between the WHOLE DNA between West and East Sicilians. Western Sicilians have low levels of Northern/Eastern European ancestry and East Sicilians aren't closer to Lebanese. And this applies to many groups.
