How to keep face youthful

Basically some days I have a very clear face where I get compliments for it that my face is shiny and clear but other days my face looks old and tired. Problem is those days I have clear skin I don’t even know what I did to achieve it maybe I drank more water that day idk so can anyone tell me things to do get clear skin and sustain it and get rid of that tired old look
