Just provoke them by passing by their nests, staring at them and acting like a monkey, preferrably with a dog to help
Then turn your back and walk away but keep an eye with your peripheral vision, they will try to attack you, hit them while they're in the air about to dive on you

i recently had a dream i ate bear. i didn't kill it though, it dropped dead and split open and then it had a basketball sized heart with black spots on it. i just ate the muscle meat

Owls don't have much meat anyway, they're like 70% feathers

thinking about it before going to sleep is what triggered it for sure. I usually never eat in my dreams
