Nasolabial folds is a complex thing. Depends on your Piriform, deep canine fossa. Many forward grown people get nasolabial folds.

Take a photo with your phone flat against the wall, and head centred in the frame. Not too far left, right, up or down.

Look straight ahead, don't cock head to left or right.

Take photo from a full stretched arm length

Rotate photo to Frankfurt plane. Check how your chin aligns with your brow.
It should come close to or align with it.

If chin is too far back, you're recessed. Could either be just chin, or whole face. This is to judge by looking at it, on an individual level. A good way to tell about maxilla projection is (in Frankfurt plane), how much the upper lip projects past the brow. If it doesn't, that's subhuman lower maxilla projection.
