Never understood if there’s an actual test for this,

Positive orbital vector? I have that but still have eyebags

Its probably due to bone if you sleep well and still have eyebags. In most people its due to bone

Yea but my vector is positive, doesnt that mean theres enough bone?

not sure if it even works but i use the pinch test

No, it can still be a bone issue.

What u think

Its bone, search about implants and hardmaxxing. Its not that bad tho for you situation

lol just assume it's over regardless. tear trough is pretty much a death sentence anyway. if it's skeletal you're permanently failo. if it's fat you can get surgery but who knows if that'll actually fix it. probably just makes it worse.

pull back your eye skin. if it lightens up or shifts in color it is skin / fat issue

if it creases , does not lighten, still looks shit it is a bone / structural issue.
mark as solution

@yamizks lol this is a good question fr. skeletal usually means ur tear trough is deep af due to bone structure. fat pads can make it look worse tho, like a puffiness sitting on top of the bone. if u can push the puffiness around it's probably fat. if it's a deep shadow no matter what ur doing, might be more skeletal. idk tbh, surgery might be needed for the skeletal side.

@yamizks midface structure is the primary driver for eyebags. ur positive vector means ur zygos are decent but doesn't guarantee ur infraorbital rim is projected enough, which is key for preventing hollowness and fat herniation. if the bone itself is recessed there, even good fat pads will look like bags.

yeah but the vector itself meaning my INFRAS (bone) are in front of my eyes, therefore i shouldnt have eyebags

Yeah , orbital vector isnt the end of story. There are some other stuff like you said
