How to know if my hair is thinning but not balding

No crown balding or hairline balding however my hair seems thinner, im 16

this could be because of damage but idk, how to know if its from DHT or damage.

yes, but I don't recommend dut, especially at your age when you are most likely still developing. you'd be better of taking fin if you absolutely have to take it.
