How to know if you have a small palate?

How can you tell? I'm most definitely going through with the MSE+IMDO, but I still want to know beforehand how small or wide my palate is

depends on hyoid positioning (y)

measure your intermolar width, thats normally a good indicator

MSE wasn't designed just to treat the palate, Won Moon made it specficially bone anchored for midfacial expansion (he wrote 2 papers on it at UCLA)

ive actually not seen many results. Im not disagreeing with you that theres limited scope for results, I'm countering the point you made of widening the palate being the main intended function of the MSE when it was designed to do something else

It does widen the palate and mouth, right? That's why I'm getting it in the first place

yes but thats not the main intention as to why it was designed (despite what many think / we already have palatal expanders like rpe)

theoretically yes. You would need a lot of turns (like ronald ead did) to see noticeable aesthetic differences with respect to FWHR

How many? He said he offers a "flat rate" so basically I think that means I can get as many turns as I want for a set price
