how to know the difference between fin shedding and mpb progressing?

some say it’s just shedding, but what if the hair loss is just getting worse naturally? is there any way to know? thanks

fin shed happens around 2-6 months of starting treatment and lasts for a few weeks, sadly theres no way to tell if its shedding or perma hair loss you just have to trust the process and stay on it for 12months+ to see results, I think minox shed is easier to track since it happens in the first month or 2 and ends pretty quickly after
