When I was doing college sports I ate 3500 cals and was losing weight.
Yeah I have fast metabolism, gonna do what uAlthough Michael Phelps ate many calories a day, he was still lean because 1) he had a fast metabolism and 2) he exercised a lot all day. Someone already said gym. I agree with it. The more you eat, the more you should exercise.

But if you want to eat a large amount of food in general, just exercise as much as you can and get calories from high volume low calorie foods like chicken etc.
