I was always a guy that would overly stress about things that could happen like overthinking what a girl said to me, what would happen if I spoke in public or caring too much and over analyzing social interactions.
Now I have successfully cold approached many girls in public and regularly speak with strangers outside.
You probably already know that having low inhibition and simply not caring what will happen before doing something risky can significantly improve your chances of actually doing it (for example approaching cute girl in the bus or asking for advice in the gym)
Here is what worked for me:
1. Improving Mental Health, specifically consistent meditation practice. I have seen huge improvements in social interactions due to lower overthinking and having this carefree mindset.
2. Martial arts, training regularly difficult sport like
MMJ/Kick Boxing made me feel more confident in random situations, I think it’s because when you do something that hard like fighting another dude, cold approaching or facing stressful situations don’t seem that hard anymore
3. Quitting porn, maybe it’s only placebo but after quitting porn and masturbating in general I felt more calmer in any interaction with female or male friends. Even if it’s only a mental shift I think it’s still worth it for you to quit anyways.
Actionable steps you can do RIGHT NOW to lower your inhib:
1. Download Medito app on app store (it’s completely free and run by volunteers), stick on a 3 minutes meditation and follow what speaker tells you. If you can’t sit for the whole time and it’s getting boring, it’s okay just try again tomorrow.
Now over a next month, progressively overload everyday till you get to 20 minutes and you should see progress very soon.
2. Go onto google maps and search “mma gym” there, find one that’s closest to you and see when is the next beginners class.
It’s usually free and you don’t need anything on your first day so just set yourself an alarm to not forget and go there. First time is always the hardest and who knows maybe you will fall in love with this sport.
3. Read “Easy peasy method” and follow it to the letter. It’s genuinely the best method out there, it worked for me and many guys I know.
It’s very short so it will probably take just few hours to read it and benefits are insane.
