How to maintain gains while not going to the gym?

I've wanted to join the gym 2 months ago but I keep rationalizing to not go there. Procrastinating basically.
The reason is that I will be away because of school a lot.
The gym is quite expensive so I'd have to pay for a few months of membership even if I can't go there in that time.
Also, I don't have enough money to get a second membership for a gym in the other area so I'd have to find a way to maintain my gym gains in the time I can't go to the gym.

Will home workout exercises with dumbbells, sit-ups etc be enough to maintain?
 
Have you heard of calisthenics?

if you don't have enough money for a membership, just buy a barbell and train at home. with just a barbell you can train:
chest (bench press)
shoulders (shoulder press)
lats (bent over row)
biceps (curls)
triceps (extensions)
abs (scissors, plank etc)

Are you really muscular? If not body weight exercises will do their job.
 
Bodyweight exercises are a cope. Without training you a loose your gains even on gear. So many retarded comments.

You need to keep lifting heavy ass weight to maintain. Especially as a natty. I suggest you find the extra cash...
