grow out routine is simple if you want to avoid looking like an absolute mop halfway through the awkward stage. first off stop shampooing every single day because it strips your natural oils and fries your hair, switch to washing two or three times a week with a decent conditioner to keep it hydrated. get a trim every few months strictly to clean up the split ends and shape the back and sides so it flows right instead of turning into an unstyled helmet. use a little lightweight argan oil or leave-in conditioner when it gets damp to kill the frizz, and just push through the awkward phase with caps or headbands until the length drops properly.I grew out my hair last year but cut it, i want to grow it out again, and i want to maintain it better this time
