If I dissolve 0.9 ml of benzyl alcohol in 100 ml of sterile water, I get bacteriostatic water is that right? Or was it 0.1 ml?

thanks bro , i dont got 10ml vials here currently can i just just leave it in the 99.1 bottle anyway? That shouldn't be a problem right
no you mix it in a sterile syringe and not in an open beaker, and buy sterile 10ml vials, a 0.22-micron filter, and 10ml syringes from amazon, draw 10ml into your syringe filtered directly into the sterile 10ml vial.

so the procedure would be; fill syringe with 9.91ml swfi; add 0.9% (0.09ml) benzylalcohol; mix; attach syringe filter to needle; fill the vials.

No so what you do is you grab a kettle/jug whatever and you boil it with 99.9% hand sanitizer. You do that till the steam evaporated 90% of the original water quantity.

get 99.1ml sterile water for injections and add 0.9ml benzylalcohol per 99.1ml swfi and there you get your bac water

and then you can make ten 10ml vials

Note: Homemade bacteriostatic water must be prepared using sterile techniques and filtered through a 0.22-micron syringe filter into a sterile vial to prevent contamination.
