I want to make some real friends and im not sure where to start. Im moving to a new school soon in a new state and want to make some real friends. I’ve never really had any real friends just some that I occasionally talk to in class, in hallways yk but i never had any friends outside of school to hangout with. help pls

best way is to make 'em thru sports

play a sport is helpful yeah, but also find people that are like you

just try to find one guy whos nice, talkative, has the same hobbies as u and if u guys become friends hell introduce u to his preexisting friend group

Be low-inhib and have similar interest as them. It’s easier to make friends with somebody who shares interest.

Just insert yourself to whatever convo you’re familiar with lol

find people who enjoy doing the same activities as you outside the mandatory ones like school or a job. then build on your mutual interests and you will form a subtle bond. much easier to befriend people who are similar to you in areas of thought/action.
