Friendships are developed due to certain circumstances and experiences shared by two individuals that bound them together for a certain period of time and give them the benefits of interacting with one another. Like being neighbors to one another, attending the same school, training some sport with one another, etc.

Two kids living in the same neighborhood that are going to the same school will inevitably befriend one another because two of them share similar circumstances and experiences from there the relationship will develop onwards in a way that being with one another is beneficial to both parties.

In that sense friendships just like all other relationships are based on mutual benefit. They are nothing special in the long run.

You need to share some similarities with people you are trying to befriend like going to the same class if you are still in school, smoking weed to befriend potheads, etc.

If you don't have an interest just fraud them just Normiemaxx consume: the same videogame, movies,tv-shows, clothes, political beliefs (even if you don't believe in them being a stormcel IRL won't really be helpful), talk about celebrities, sport, etc.
