Ive been asked often how do i not miss a single day of the gym when ive been going for 8 years, how do i still love it so much, how do you make it lifefuel?

ive personally trained alot of people but the one thing i dont know how train is how to get the motivation since i never struggled with it.

Id say literally just make it as efficient and enjoyable as possible, thats what i did and probably why im so consistent. People think you have to gymcel 1+hour, 5 times a week to have a top tier physique but its simply not true. I literally put in minimal effort for maximum returns. What i found out was the optimal approach is to go 3 times a week, push, pull, legs, and the key is to ONLY do 4 exercises per workout.
It sounds like little volume but if you do it to a high intensity then you get 90%+ of the same gains you’d get if you went 1.5 hours a workout. 3 sets to high intensity per exercise, focus on compound movements. In between sets when you are resting, literally act as if you are rotting at home and scroll .org, put on a podcast, u can do anything on your phone.

When you do less exercises but to a higher intensity, firstly theres less burden and mental stress on your mind, secondly you subconsciously put more effort and focus into each rep because you know you dont have many, and thirdly the gym becomes more fun because you dont spend nearly as long in there.

My workouts are so efficient now to the point i go for 30-40 minutes per workout, 3 times a week and my body is top 1% shoulder to waist ratio (posted it on my profile)

The other two tips:
1. focus on the correct weight range, light weights but good form>heavy weights but bad form, will make the gym more enjoyable for many reasons. Treat it like you are really controlling the weight instead of throwing it around.
2. Take longer rest periods and dont time anything in the gym. To lower the mental stress and decisions, just do the next set when your body feels physically ready.

With all these tips the gym should feel more like a sanctuary where you go to destress and clear your head, rather than a second job you dread showing up to.
