Materials needed:
* 19-Norandrostenedione (19-Nor) powder
* Ethanol (95%)
* Water
* Sodium hydroxide (NaOH)
* Hydrochloric acid (HCl)
* Diethyl ether
* Tetrahydrofuran (THF)
* Activated carbon
* Filter paper
* Measuring equipment
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Wear protective gear (gloves, goggles, lab coat) and work in a well-ventilated area.
2. Weigh and measure 10 grams of 19-Nor powder.
3. Dissolve the 19-Nor powder in 50 mL of ethanol (95%) in a round-bottom flask.
4. Add 1.5 grams of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and stir until dissolved.
5. Cool the mixture to 0°C using an ice bath.
6. Slowly add 1.5 grams of hydrochloric acid (HCl) while maintaining the temperature at 0°C.
7. Allow the mixture to warm up to room temperature and stir for 2 hours.
8. Add 20 mL of diethyl ether and stir for 10 minutes.
9. Filter the mixture using filter paper and discard the solid residue.
10. Concentrate the filtrate using a rotary evaporator or a warm water bath.
11. Recrystallize the resulting solid using tetrahydrofuran (THF) and activated carbon.
12. Collect the crystallized trenbolone and dry it under vacuum or using a desiccator.
