No yapping just getting straight to it

What you have to understand most people mistake the points where they have to measure from. They think the most outer part of the shoulder is where the bone starts but thats just tendons/muscles

Here is the clavicle bone for instance:

After you have found out where the bone sits you go get a pencil and lean towards a wall facing the opposite direction

If your posture is fucked, make the shoulder blades lay flat against the wall so that it doesnt create that extra space inbetween you and the wall. But not too much just to the point where the leftover space is gone

Afterwards you stand still, take the pencil and mark the point strictly perpendicular to the wall, the same goes for the other side and dont move your body at all

Now you take a measuring tape or whatever tool and measure the distance.

From the distance you subtract approx 7mm from the pencil, as the wood between your bone and the graphite also has a distance ( 3.5mm + 3.5mm )
caliper

Its better if you have someone do it for you since it can be hard to do it yourself, most accurate way is to get it measured by a broad caliper but not everyone has it at home so it is the best alternative for now
