How to overcome the fear of online face reveals

Every time I engage with someone online I apprehend the moment they will ask me to show what I look like.

How do people, and even ugly people have such overflowing confidence and just send their face like that?

Ghosting isn't even the problem. Honestly and while staying humble I don't think people would ever ghost me because of how I look, but it just feels so fucking awkward

Unless they are gay and find out you aren't gay. Had lots of DMs in places that were ghosted that started friendly that ended with them asking if I was gay and me saying no and ghosted by them lol.
