To start things off, I have seen a shit ton of posts on here about the use of anabolic steroids, but all they ever mention is doses, compounds etc. Never the small details that either make or break the experience (pinning).
There is a whole lot more to think about than just sticking a needle into your arse.
SYRINGES
Alright so first off your gonna need a good syringe, one that matches the amount you will be injecting.
There are syringes from 0,5 ml to 50 ml (your most likely never gonna need anything bigger than a 2 ml, if even that)
The standard for anabolic compounds is a 1 ml syringe, if the amount your going to be injecting is over that, just pin more than once for god sakes. Otherwise it will increase risk of pain and complications. But we will get into that later.
NEEDLES
Your going to need 2 different needles for each injection, a drawing needle and an injection needle (don’t be stupid and use only the injection needle because it WILL get dull from drawing and hurt significantly more)
For a drawing needle I would recommend anything between a 18-21 gauge needle. If the steroid your using has a higher concentration (for an example 400 mg/ml test) use an 18 gauge as the liquid will be a lot thicker. Length does not really matter but it should be around 1-1,5 inches.
For a injection needle I would recommend anything between a 23-27 gauge needle, the higher the gauge the less painful it will be, but it will take a lot longer to inject. We will cover the optimal length of the injection needle later, since it is relative to your injection site.
Picking a injection site
There are many different sites you can choose to inject in, some more painful than others. My list will be for people who are injecting themselves (assuming you guys don’t have any friends
)
Ventrogluteal site
Minor amount of blood vessels/nerves
Easy to reach
Can hold large amounts of liquid (up to 3ml)
This is overall my favorite one, little to no pain and you can do it easily by yourself.
For this site you should be using ATLEAST a 1,5 inch needle as you most likely have high fat storage here.
Vastus lateralis
Easy to reach
Can hold a large amounts of liquid (up to 3 ml)
Safe from larger blood vessels/nerves
This site is pretty comparable to the ventrogluteal site, but I would say it is more painful.
Average adult should use a 1 inch needle, if your fat use a 1,5 inch needle.
Deltoid
This is the classic injection site, most people use it for the simplicity.
Easy to do yourself
Good for smaller injections (can only hold up to 1 ml)
It is a very easy to pick spot, but I would not recommend it since it is very painful, there are nerves and it can only hold a smaller amount of liquid.
1 Inch needle is recommended.
General tips
Use gloves
Use an alcohol swab before and after injecting
Use the Z-track method
Inject slowly
1 ml a time is the least painful
Rotate between injection sites (dont use the same spot over and over again)
And that is about it, if you found this helpful please give me a thumbs up
my rep is actually shit.
