How to Properly ask Questions for Optimal Answers
So why this is relevant? Don’t we all know how to ask questions?
And you’d be right, everybody knows how to ask a question. However many make common and easily fixable mistakes that prevent them from getting the answers they need.

I’ve seen it again and again, across all platforms, bad questions that can only give equally bad answers.
  • Someone who readily outsources their thought: “HGH, thoughts?”.
    .
  • Vague questions missing many key details: "Hello, ______ Are my growth plates closed?"
Key details: "I'm 18, Last year i was 175, now i'm 180, my doctor says my bone age is 16 years."
    .
  • A person makes a long paragraph of unintelligible text that you have to decode for it to make sense:
"Hey guys so like a few days back or maybe it was three days, idk, but then when i was out for a walk i slipped and my foot hurts now. I'm wanna go on vacation in the summer, that'd be cool. but i haven't gone to the doctor yet for my foot pain should i go or is it fine to just leave it it hurts but thats allright is it ok?.."
Decoded: "I slipped a few days back, my foot hurts. Should i go see a doctor?"

Ensure your questions receive the best answers by understanding that:

  • Vagueness gets vague answers, specificity gets actionable answers.
There's a reason the saying goes: “Specificty begets specificity”. Because when you’re specific you’ll get a specific answer. Whereas a vague question will get you a vague answer.

An example of a vague question could be: “I want to do tren, thoughts?”.
This question is very vague and will get you a wide variety of answers like:
“I love it! but it does make me a tad bit angry”
“Don't take it, it will make your dick shrink!”
Do you see the issue here?
Stop outsourcing your thought and be more specific.

  • List what you have already tried.
Explaining everything you’ve already tried will narrow down what the problem could be and will eliminate the chance of getting a solution that you’ve already tried.

  • Explain what the end goal of the question is.
If the person you’re asking knows what the purpose for your question is, they can help you better. Maybe they have experience on the subject and know a better route/method.

  • Untangle your words and make it understandable.
Think about your question and write it down in a way that’s understandable to your reader. Don’t just type out your immediate thoughts and hope for the best. The person you want help from doesn’t want to spend hours decoding whatever cryptic message you’ve sent.

  • Understand the principles of brevity.
Brevity is the concept of writing a lot with a few words, being concise, speaking with clarity and much more.
Many questions are written in entire paragraphs and could be shortened down to a single sentence. You’ve seen it too. Remove excess information and keep core information.
If you want to get better at brevity i suggest you read this article:
