SFS usually comes with a normal or longer ramus and a normal or acute gonial angle, so the best option is a standard BSSO cut. There’s no need to change the ramus or gonion, and you get better bone contact due to better bone overlap. You can also consider condylar torque if you need more width. The usual movements are clockwise rotation and maxillary downgrafting and ofc advancement. What movements do you think are the best for someone that has sfs?
I don't think so, just have basic knowledge about CW, CCW, downgraft/impaction, setback, and advancement. The more important thing is to consult with multiple surgeons, And don't overdo the maxilla, and ideally get braces beforehand.Do you need to know all this terminology or just accept what the surgeon suggest?
