just always be doing something. I dont mean play games or doomscroll, but do something busy like going on walks, hanging out with friends and going out, cooking ect. I find when I stay busy with life I get caught up in everything it becomes an after thought for when I get bored. Also Id say ween urself off of hardcore stuff over the course of a month or two and just get ur brain used to softcore stuff and in combination with what I said before, it should be better
